February 2010: Permit Management

Titan now has a solution to enable complete Permit Management. This recently added functionality to its already industry-standard SaaS platform allows central management of both fuel and non-fuel-related permits and registrations. Capabilities include the opportunity to mass upload permits across stores. This means as compliance managers receive batches of permits from states, the application can e-file and distribute these electronically to the proper facility. It is one of many new software capabilities announced by the company last month.

Some of the permits that can be easily managed by this solution’s new Permit Management module include:

Fuel-related permits:

• UST Registration
• Financial Responsibility
• Permit to Operate
• Delivery Certificate
• Other: Customizable

Non-fuel-related permits:     

• Alcohol
• Lottery
• Hazmat
• Tobacco
• Insurance
• Sales Tax
• Dairy and Produce

The Permit Management feature further allows facilities to track price, expiration dates and exceptions. It also provides electronic storage of permits and other related information, such as photos, essential for competent UST and facility management.  Additionally, the system can provide automated reminders to key employees when these renewals come due, helping you avoid fines and stay on top of compliance issues.
